When choosing Lifta, you are not only selecting a high-quality product, but also continuous service and support, even after your purchase.
Starting with a free and non-binding telephone consultation with one of our experts, we give you a detailed introduction to your stairlift options, with a focus on your individual case and living situation. If you live in the area of Cape Town, Durban or Johannesburg, a free and non-binding consultation at your home is also possible, if desired.

Installation

Precise preparation ensures a gratifyingly fast, tidy and straightforward installation of your stairlift. Our engineers will install your stairlift on your staircase, without any additional construction work. Maximum safety is guaranteed throughout the process. Your personal stairlift will be ready for its first drive after just a few hours.

1) Preparation
Your Lifta stairlift is tailored to the layout of your staircase. To deliver exceptional quality, a Lifta engineer will come to your home and measure your staircase.
Once your staircase is analysed, the information is used to prepare your custommade rail system.
Depending on the model, the delivery time can take between 1 and up to a maximum of 8 weeks. The final installation is then carried out by a service engineer.

2) Set up
To ensure the best quality, our service engineers are selected carefully and are required to meet our professional standards. On an agreed installation date, your experienced Lifta engineer will carefully install the solution on your staircase.
In just a couple of hours, your own stairlift can be ready for use. The entire installation is completed in a smooth and tidy process, generating as little noise as possible. Since the rail system is exclusively tailored to your stairs, no further modifications have to be made to your home.

3) Introducing the Stairlift to you
Final touches – once our technician has thoroughly tested the safety of your stairlift, it is your time to take a ride! From now on, you will be able to move safely between the floors of your home.
Following installation, our Lifta service technicians are available to you at any time to answer your questions or support you with technical assistance.

After Sales

A Lifta Stairlift is a first-class product with a guarantee period of up to 3 years, depending on the selected solution. If you experience any technical difficulties or have any questions, our toll-free telephone service (021 462 4696) is available to you 24 hours a day and 365 days a year.

Maintenance

Lifta Stairlifts are robust, stable and enduring. Nevertheless, like any technical device in frequent use, their functionality has to be checked at regular intervals. For this reason, Lifta offers professional maintenance services. For an indoor stairlift, we recommend an annual check-up service. For an outdoor stairlift, a routine 6-month check-up is suggested.
Maintenance includes:

  • a deep cleaning,
  • a battery check
  • testing all the safety features
  • Examination of all the control units, the seat and the armrests

If our engineer finds any problems, these will be immediately repaired or replaced, if necessary.
