No. The rail of the stairlift will be fitted onto the stairs either at the outer or the inner edge of the staircase. Even for stairways where the staircase is interrupted by landings, we can offer a suitable solution. Nor is the material the staircase is made of, of any concern. A Lifta stairlift can be erected on any material. Even doors and passages in the staircase area are not a problem: the rail simply folds up. Your consultant will be glad to fill in any details.
